Metro Manila, Philippines – Alex Eala will begin her 2026 Asian Games campaign against Thailand’s Patcharin Cheapchandej in the women’s singles second round after receiving a first-round bye.

The Filipina tennis star held her final practice session at the Higashiyama Park Tennis Center on Sunday, Sept. 27, as she prepares for her Asian Games debut.

Eala went through warm-ups, groundstroke drills, and other court exercises during her final preparations for her opening match.

The 20-year-old Eala is making her Asian Games debut and will represent the Philippines in the women’s singles event.
