(CNN Philippines) — August 18 marks the third death anniversary of former Interior Secretary Jesse Robredo.

A dedicated public servant, Robredo was appointed as a Cabinet member under the Aquino administration in 2010 and served until his death in 2012.

He was also a member of the Liberal Party.
