
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) – As of 10 a.m. on Sunday (July 5), Tropical Storm Egay (internationally known as Linfa) has maintained its strength was spotted in the vicinity of Mount Cagagangan in Cagayan, according to the 11:00 a.m. bulletin of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
Moving northwest at 9 kph, Egay was packing maximum sustained winds of 95 kph near the center with a gustiness of 120 kph.
PAGASA estimated Egay to bring moderate to occasionally heavy rain within its 300 km diameter.
It’s estimated to exit the landmass via Cagayan this Sunday evening and will exit Philippine territory by Wednesday afternoon (July 8).
