Laoag (CNN Philippines) — Some parts of Nueva Era, Ilocos Norte have not yet been fully cleared of the landslides caused by Tropical Storm Egay which lashed the country in early July.

“The clearing of these roads are under the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH),” he said.
the DPWH is still working on road projects that will connect the provinces of Ilocos Norte and Abra, linking two regions in the northern part of the country.
