
(CNN Philippines) – It has been a terrific two years for Britiain’s young heir.
Kensington Palace, by way of its Twitter and instagram accounts, released a photo of Prince George the day before his second birthday.
Kensington Palace — the official home of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge — made the announcement on Twitter on Tuesday (July 21).
The photo shows Prince George beaming at the camera as he is held by his father, Prince William.

It was taken on July 5, the day his sister, Princess Charlotte, was christened.
The photo was taken by celebrity photographer Mario Testino, who also took the photos of the royal christening in Sandringham.

Testino also photographed the late Princess Diana for the cover of Vanity Fair Magazine in 1997.
Prince George Alexander Louis is the first child of Prince William and Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge.
