Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — World Cup winner Bastian Schweinsteiger is set to transfer to Manchester United after the English-based club agreed on a deal with Bayern Munich.
According to Manchester United’s official website, the deal will be completed pending the completion of a medical and the agreement of personal terms with the German midfielder.
Schweinsteiger will be the third major signing of United this season following the acquisitions of Italian international Matteo Darmian and Dutch winger Memphis Depay.
