Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — As Sen. Miriam Defensor-Santiago turned 70 on Monday (June 15), she offered us her new book Stupid is Forevermore — the second installment of her best-selling collection of jokes, pick-up lines, quotes, and anecdotes.
Santiago decided to release another book following the success of her book Stupid is Forever.
“I was pleasantly surprised with the strong public support for Stupid is Forever, so I decided to publish a second book,” she said.
Just like the first installment, Stupid is Forevermore highlights Santiago’s sharp wit and sometimes dark humor.
A chapter entitled “Overheard at the Senate” — culled from her privilege speeches and news conference transcripts — is the longest chapter in the book.
