Adamson retires Jerom Lastimosa’s jersey No. 7

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, September 29) — Rising basketball star Jerom Lastimosa will be the last Soaring Falcon to wear No. 7 in collegiate basketball as Adamson University on Friday retired his jersey.

The ceremony was held during the school’s pep rally for the upcoming UAAP Season 86.
\”Adamson University retires Jerom Lastimosa’s Jersey No. 7. No other member of the Soaring Falcons Basketball Men’s Team may wear this number again, in recognition of Jerom Lastimosa’s remarkable journey as an athlete,\” said AdU in a statement.
The senior point guard was part of the national team that won gold in the 2023 Southeast Asian Games in Cambodia.
Lastimosa was pivotal in Adamson’s Final Four appearance in Season 85, where he averaged 14.83 points, 4.33 rebounds, and 3.42 assists.
