Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, August 5) — A fire hit a residential area in Intramuros, Manila Saturday evening, the Bureau of Fire Protection said.
Authorities raised first alarm over the blaze in Barangay 650 at 4:57 p.m.
Fourth alarm was called at 5:16 p.m. This means 8 to 9 homes or a high-rise building were affected by the fire, and that a total of 14 fire trucks were deployed to respond to the incident.
The BFP said the fire was placed under control at 8:13 p.m.
No casualties have been reported, so far.
