Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, August 3) — Authorities have recovered the bodies of the two people on board the Cessna plane bound for Cagayan that crashed in Apayao last Tuesday.

Apayao Search, Rescue, and Retrieval (SRR) team and military rescuers recovered the bodies and the aircraft’s black box near Sitio Matad in Barangay Salvacion, the provincial government announced Thursday night.
The two passengers were identified as Capt. Edzel John Lumbao Tabuzo, 24, and student pilot and Indian natonal Anshum Rajkumar Konde, 20.
