
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, August 25) — The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) on Thursday granted at least 53 public utility buses (PUBs) special permits to cater to players and attendees of the FIBA World Cup, which kicks off this Friday, Aug. 25.
The agency also designated drop-off and pick-up areas of the selected PUBs:
– Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange
– Trinoma (Quezon City)
– SM Mall of Asia (Pasay)
– One Ayala Terminal (Makati)
– Cloverleaf Ayala (Quezon City)
– Market! Market! (Taguig)
– Araneta City (Quezon City)
– SM Clark (Pampanga)

\”Nakikiisa po ang LTFRB sa lahat ng mga ahensya ng gobyerno sa pagtitiyak na magiging maayos ang pagdaraos ng makasaysayang pandaigdigang patimpalak na ito ng basketball sa ating bansa,\” LTFRB chairperson Teofilo Guadiz said.
