
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, August 21) – Fuel prices will go up for the seventh consecutive week starting Tuesday, oil companies announced Monday.
In separate advisories, Seaoil and Cleanfuel said the per liter cost of gasoline will go up by ₱1.10 while the price of diesel will increase by 20 centavos per liter.
Jetti, Unio, Caltexl and Petro Gazz also said they will implement the same price adjustments.
Kerosene, on the other hand, will cost 70 centavos more per liter, Seaoil and Caltex added.
The latest monitoring of the Department of Energy showed that the price adjustments resulted in a year-to-date net increase of gasoline by ₱13.40, diesel by ₱8.60, and kerosene by ₱5.14.
