Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, August 10) — From one project to another, Korean singer-actor Seo In-guk bares what is still in store in his career that fans should watch out for.
Speaking to CNN Philippines’ New Day, Seo said acting and singing are his priorities as an artist.
“I’m currently filming a new drama, coming out in December,\” he said in Korean. \”During the times I am not filming, I am working on my music, so that I can release an album in the future.\”
Seo started his career as a singer when he won the Superstar K singing competition in 2009.
He debuted as an actor in 2012 through the TV drama “Love Rain.”
The versatile actor is best known for his dramas “Reply 1997,” “Shopping King Louie,” “The Smile Has Left Your Eyes,” “Doom At Your Service,” and “Café Minamdang.”
Seo said there are still genres and roles that he would like to pursue, may it be a villain or an ordinary character who touches people’s hearts.
In the center of everything he does are his fans.
“I always think about the fans who have loved me and found me since then that have brought me to where I am today,\” Seo said.
\”I always think about what my fans will love when I choose whatever I do,” he added.
To show his appreciation to his fans, Seo is set to hold his first Southeast Asian fan meeting in Manila on Aug. 12.
He said he will be performing some of his songs and original sound tracks during the big night.
It will be held at the New Frontier Theater at 6 p.m.
