#WalangPasok: Class, gov’t work suspensions on Aug. 2 due to rains, flooding

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, August 1) — Some local government units (LGUs) suspended classes and work in government offices on Wednesday due to the effects of the southwest monsoon enhanced by Typhoon Falcon, and the aftermath of Super Typhoon Egay.

Both storms are already outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) but several areas have declared a state of calamity due to continuous rains and flooding. 

Here are the LGUs that issued suspensions:

Pampanga: Classes in all levels (public and private) until Friday, Aug. 4

Angeles City: Classes in all levels (public and private) until Friday, Aug. 4

Calasiao, Pangasinan: Classes in all levels (public and private)

Dagupan City: Classes in all levels (public and private), all government work
