Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, July 5) — Veteran entertainment journalist Mario Dumaual died on Wednesday after suffering “severe fungal infection” following a heart attack, his family confirmed.
According to his family, the reporter died at 8:01 a.m. due to septic shock. He was confined for a month at the Philippine Heart Center, they added.
He would have turned 65 years old on July 31.
