
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, July 28) — Some local government units (LGU) announced class suspensions on Friday, July 28, due to the aftermath brought by Typhoon Egay.
According to the state weather bureau, Egay was last spotted outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility and entering the Taiwan Strait.
The bureau warns, however, that gusty conditions and heavy rain are forecast in some areas in Luzon and Western Visayas.
Here are the LGUs that announced suspension of classes in all levels in public and private schools:
