
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, July 28) — Some flights on July 28 to 29 were canceled due to the heavy rains brought by the southwest monsoon enhanced by Typhoon Egay, airlines announced.
According to the state weather bureau, Egay was last spotted outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility and entering the Taiwan Strait.
The bureau warns, however, that gusty conditions and heavy rain are forecast in some areas in Luzon and Western Visayas.
