Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, July 24) — Presidential son and Ilocos Norte First District Rep. Sandro Marcos sported a “remake” of a barong that his grandfather, former president Ferdinand E. Marcos, once wore.
On Instagram, Marcos shared that designer Puey Quiñones made the barong similar to what the late president donned in his inauguration as the 10th president in 1965.
\”Asked [Puey Quiñones] to remake my Lolo’s barong,\” the young Marcos posted along with the photo of him wearing the barong with floral embroidery.
