Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, July 24) — It’s that time of year when politicians and other personalities don their best Filipino attire to make statements and pay homage at the red carpet of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s State of the Nation Address at Batasang Pambansa in Quezon City.
Vice President and Education chief Sara Duterte paid tribute to the Moro tribe in a traditional Maguindanaon dress designed by Cotabato City-based designer Israel Ellah Ungkakay.
Meanwhile, presidential sister Senator Imee Marcos welcomed her brother with an ensemble inspired by the people of the Cordilleras. She matched her outfit with tattoos on her body.
