
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, July 17) – Parañaque, Pasig and Quezon City will offer free rides beginning Monday amid the scheduled transport strike, the local government units announced in separate social media posts.
Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez said 40 vehicles will be deployed from July 24 to July 26 along Dr. A. Santos Avenue, or Sucat Road.
The “libreng sakay” route will cover Baclaran, Ninoy Aquino Avenue, Quirino Avenue, and East and West Service Roads.
