Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, July 15) – Fuel prices are expected to go up next week, Unioil Petroleum Philippines Inc. said Saturday.
The price of gasoline may increase by ₱1.80 to ₱2 per liter, while the cost of diesel may go up by ₱1.90 to ₱2.10 per liter.
The oil price adjustments are expected to take effect from July 18 to 24.
According to the Department of Energy, the price adjustment resulted in a year-to-date net decrease of ₱2.95 per liter for diesel and ₱5.50 per liter for kerosene.
