PH bowlers clinch team gold in Asian Youth Championships

Triumph for the country’s bowlers at the 21st Asian Youth Tenpin Bowling Championships.

Art Barrientos, Stephen Luke Diwa, Marc Dylan Custodio and Zach Ramin came from behind and recorded 4,933 pinfalls to rule the Boys team event. The four young bowlers totaled 943 pinfalls in the sixth and final frame to end the country’s 42-year gold medal drought in the event.

South Korea finished second with 4,922 followed by host country Thailand with 4,918.
