U.P. outgunned the formerly unbeaten DLSU Green Archers in the finals last Wednesday, 87-76, in San Juan City.
New recruits Mark Belmonte and Francis \”Lebron\” Lopez doing the biggest damage for the Fighting Maroons.
Belmonte fired 18 points and hauled down five rebounds off the bench. The high-flying Lopez chipped in 16 markers and two dimes.
