Oil price rollback effective this week

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, June 19) – Decreases in the prices of oil products will take effect this week, fuel companies announced Monday.

In separate advisories, Seaoil , Phoenix and Petro Gazz said gasoline will be cheaper by 35 centavos per liter while diesel prices will fall by 10 centavos per liter.

Caltex, Jetti, Unioil and PTT will also implement the same fuel price adjustments.

Caltexte, Seaoil, Flying V and Petro Gazz, meanwhile, said the per-liter cost of kerosene will decrease by 30 centavos per liter.

The price drops bring the year-to-date net decrease for diesel at P3.95/liter and kerosene at P6.05/liter, the Department of Energy said.

Gasoline, on the other hand, has a net increase of P6.70/liter, it added.

On June 13, oil companies enforced a per liter increase of ₱1.20 for gasoline and ₱1.30 for kerosene.
