Salvino breaks PH, SEAG marks in golden 100m backstroke performance

The 17-year-old Salvino had a rousing debut in the Southeast Asian Games, clocking in 1-minute and 1-point-64 seconds to dominate the women’ s 100-meter backstroke event.

To make it even more memorable, she also broke the national and SEA Games records of the said event and reset the national women’s 50-meter backstroke record with her 28-point-95 – second swim.
