
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, April 6) — The Senate received the highest public satisfaction rating among top government institutions, the Social Weather Stations (SWS) said in its latest survey.
According to the poll conducted in December last year, the upper chamber received a “very good” net rating of +68. The survey also showed that 75% of the respondents were satisfied with the Senate’s performance while 6% were dissatisfied. The Senate got an “excellent” satisfaction rating in Mindanao at +81, followed by Balance Luzon at +68, Metro Manila at +63, and the Visayas at +59, which were all “very good.” The upper chamber also had an “excellent” rating of +77 in rural areas and a “very good” rating of +60 in urban areas. On the other hand, the House of Representatives received the second highest net satisfaction rating with +56, which was also considered “very good.”
