Fuel price cut set this week

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, April 24) — Oil companies will reduce the prices of petroleum products starting Tuesday.

In separate advisories on Monday, Seaoil, Cleanfuel, Jetti, and Caltex said the per-liter prices of gasoline and diesel would decrease by ₱1.40 and 70 centavos, respectively.

For kerosene, prices would be slashed by 20 centavos per liter.According to the oil monitoring of the Department of Energy as of April 18, the year-to-date per-liter decrease stood at ₱2.35 for diesel and ₱3.35 for kerosene. Gasoline has a net increase of ₱8.95 per liter.
