Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, March 3) — Customs collection hit ₱63 billion last month, with preliminary data showing that the Bureau of Customs (BOC) surpassed its target revenue for February.
In a statement, the BOC said February’s figure was higher than the ₱61.8 billion target, and the ₱59.43 billion booked in the same period last year.This brings the bureau’s revenue for the first two months of 2023 to ₱133.38 billion.We will continue to innovate and implement sustainable reforms to boost the Bureau’s collection efficiency, which will contribute to the expansion and recovery of our national economy,” Customs Commissioner Bienvenido Rubio said.
