Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, March 2) — The Philippines has been recognized as the best dive destination in Asia during a recently concluded international travel expo, the Department of Tourism (DOT) said Thursday.
The country bested Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan, and the Maldives to clinch the award at the Diving, Resort, and Travel (DRT) show held in Malaysia last week, according to the DOT.
