1 of 4 Cessna passengers’ remains brought down from Mayon wreckage

Aviation authorities have 'positively identified' the wreckage near the crater of Mayon Volcano as the Cessna aircraft that was reported missing in Albay last Saturday.

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, March 1) — A week after retrieval operations began, the remains of one of the four passengers of the Cessna plane that crashed near Mayon Volcano have been brought down, according to Camalig, Albay Mayor Carlos “Caloy” Baldo.

The mayor said responders were able to bring the remains to the base of the volcano Wednesday night.
