
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, February 6) — Metro Manila has recorded 17 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday — the lowest count listed in the region since March 2020, a fellow of the OCTA Research group said Monday.

“This is the lowest in the NCR since March 20, 2020. The seven-day average dipped to 46 cases per day,” Guido David said in a social media post.

He added that the capital region’s weekly coronavirus positivity rate dropped to 1.7% as of Feb. 4.
