(CNN Philippines, February 28) — Meggie Ochoa bagged one of the Philippines’ four gold medals at the 7th Asian Jiu-jitsu Championship in Bangkok, Thailand.
The two-time world champion dominated Singapore’s May Yong in the finals, 15-0, on Monday to emerge victorious in the women’s adult -48kg division of the continental tournament.
Meanwhile, Annie Ramirez ruled the women’s -57kg category, while Kaila Napolis and Dylan Valmores topped the -52kg and +70kg divisions, respectively.
Marc Alexander Lim and Andrea Lois Lao added a pair of bronze for the country in the male -69kg and female -63kg categories.
