Parokya ni Edgar’s guitarist Gab Chee Kee, who is battling cancer, will be discharged soon, according to his bandmates.
In a social media update on Feb. 26, Parokya ni Edgar said Chee Kee was already transferred to a regular hospital room.
“Happy siya dahil nakalipat na siya sa regular room! Isa-isa na tinatanggal yung mga tubes na nakakabit sa katawan niya,” the band added, as they thanked fans for their support and prayers.
[Translation: He is happy because he is already in a regular room! The tubes attached to his body are already being removed one by one.]
“Excited parang bata, nag-gigitara habang papunta sa regular room! Konti na lang at makakalabas na rin siya ng hospital!” the post added, with Chee Kee shown smiling and looking energetic in the accompanying photos and videos.
[Translation: He is excited like kid, playing his guitar while being moved to a regular room! A little more time and he will be discharged from the hospital!]
