Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, February 24) — The Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) on Friday announced the eight official entries for its first summer edition in April.
The final film picks were selected based on the following criteria: artistic excellence, commercial appeal, Filipino cultural sensibility, and global appeal.

Director: JP Habac Starring: Carlo Aquino, Eisel Serrano The entries were chosen from 33 film submissions, of which 23 are new films and 10 were resubmitted from the last MMFF in December. The first ever summer edition was supposed to be held last 2020 but it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
