“SB19 comes to ‘amicable agreement’ with former label \n”

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, December 5) — Members of the P-pop sensation SB19 on Tuesday announced that they have come to an “amicable agreement” with their former label, ShowBT Philippines Corp.

The five-member boy band said the two parties reached “a fair and equitable resolution.”

Although there were no details on what the agreement was all about, fans speculate that this could be related to the ownership of the group’ s name and logo.

Eagle-eyed fans earlier pointed out that the members have dropped their group’s name from their personal Instagram accounts.

The P-pop boy band recently cancelled their concert in Singapore, Bangkok, and Dubai “to prioritize the well-being” of the members and “to navigate and resolve current complexities affecting the tour.” The name SB19 was never mentioned in their announcements.

In their latest statement, however, they used the name “SB19” to refer to the group.

“Thank you for your patience and unwavering support towards SB19 and 1Z Entertainment. Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin eagerly anticipate reconnecting with all of you in their upcoming endeavors. We can’t wait to see you all again soon,” said 1Z Entertainment, the music label founded by the members themselves in October.
