Marcos renames 8 PNP camps, real properties after ‘distinguished’ ex-police officers

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, December 27) — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has named and renamed eight camps and real properties of the Philippine National Police (PNP) after former servicemen who distinguished themselves in their service by “[showing] patriotism, courage, and dedication.”

Marcos issued Proclamation Nos. 429 and 430 on Dec. 20, saying it is fitting to give honor to the former police officers by renaming PNP facilities after them.

The two documents were uploaded on the Official Gazette website on Wednesday.

In Proclamation No. 429, Marcos ordered the naming and renaming of these five PNP camps and real properties:

– The donated lot to the PNP in Pasacao, Camarines Sur as “Camp Brigadier General Ludovico Padilla Arejola”
– The donated lot to Police Regional Office 5 as “Camp Captain Salvador Jaucian del Rosario, Sr”
– The Camarines Sur Police Provincial Office as “Camp Colonel Juan Querubin Miranda”
– The 50th Maneuver Company Regional Mobile Force Battalion 5 as “ Camp Police Max Jim Ramirez Tria”
– The Camp Efigenio C Navarro, PRO MIMAROPA Headquarters as “Camp Brigadier General Efigenio C Navarro”

Meanwhile, the following changes were provided under Proclamation No. 430:

– The Police Regional Office 12 as “Camp General Paulino T. Santos, Police Regional Office 12”
– The Biliran Police Provincial Office as “Camp Private Andres P. Dadizon, Police Regional Office 8”
– The Camarines Sur 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company Headquarters as “Camp 2LT Carlos Rafael Paz Imperial, Police Regional Office 5”
