PH bet Michelle Dee officially enters Miss Universe ‘Voice for Change Top 10

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, November 16) — Philippine bet Michelle Marquez Dee was officially announced as part of the 72nd Miss Universe “Voice for Change” Top 10 during the preliminary rounds of the ongoing pageant in El Salvador.

Dee has been vocal of her advocacy for autism awareness and inclusivity, saying her two siblings are on the autism spectrum.

The Philippine bet from Makati is also the ambassador of Autism Society Philippines (ASP).

In early November, Dee led the campaign with over 150,000 votes online. The category allows candidates to share their personal advocacies through a 3-minute video and encourage the public to take part. 

With Dee in the campaign’s Top 10 are:

Angola – Ana Barbara Coimbra advocates for social impact and sustainability on a global stage.

Brazil – Maria Brechane champions the importance of education.

Chile – Celeste Viel is an advocate for fostering hope for children in need.

Lebanon – Maya Abou El-Hosn fights against the education crisis in her country.

Puerto Rico – Karla Guilfu Acevedo is dedicated to democratizing mental health.

Singapore – Priyanka Annuncia advocates for diversity and inclusion, challenging conventional beauty stereotypes.

South Africa – Bryoni Govender stands for women’s empowerment.

Ukraine – Angelina Usanova is a musical peacemaker and environmental advocate.

Zimbabwe – Brooke Bruk-Jackson is committed to social impact, sustainability, and positive transformation on the global stage.

The campaign is a collaboration between Mouawad, CI Talks, and the Miss Universe Organization.
