Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, November 15) — A fish kill was monitored off the coast of a barangay in Cavite City on Nov. 13, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) said Wednesday.
The PCG reported that most of the fish in the vicinity waters off Barangay 61 were tilapia.
The PCG also said the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources has already conducted a water sampling to determine the possible cause of the fish kill.
The collected fish were transported to the Material Recovery Facility of Cavite City for proper disposal, the agency added.
