Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, October 6) — OPM singer Moira dela Torre is among the nominees for Best Asia Act in the MTV Europe Music Awards 2023.
She was nominated alongside Japanese boy band Be:First, K-pop group Treasure, Thai actor-singer Bright Vachirawit, and Indonesian singer Tiara Andini.
This is the second time that Dela Torre was nominated in the MTV EMA. In 2019, she also bagged a nomination for Best Southeast Asian Act.
The 29-year-old singer was known for her hits such as \”Malaya\” \” Tagpuan\” and \”Paubaya.\”
The online voting will run until Oct. 31. Winners will be announced during the awards show in Paris, France on Nov. 5.
\”Amakabogera\” singer and actress Maymay Entrata was also nominated last year in the same category.
