
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, October 29) — AP Bren completed its magical journey in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 12 after taking down Blacklist International, 4-1, in the grand final to capture the crown Sunday at the EVM Convention Center in Quezon City.
It was a perfect ending for Bren as the squad won the coveted crown on the same day its head coach Francis \”Duckey\” Glindro was inducted into the league’s Hall of Legends.
Bren was off to a scorching start in the best-of-seven affair as it established a 2-0 series lead.
Blacklist was able to get its rhythm with a 13-1 victory behind Kiel \”Oheb\” Soriano’s masterful usage of Ixia in the third match to cut the deficit at 2-1.
With David Charles \”FlapTzy\” Canon taking the charge, Bren was simply unstoppable in the next two games to secure the title its second franchise championship.
FlapTzy was hailed the Finals Most Valuable Player.
Bren will be taking home the lion’s share of the $150,000 (about ₱ 8.5 million) prize pool.
