Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, October 13) — A magnitude 5 earthquake rocked Calaca, Batangas on Friday morning, state seismologists said.
In an advisory, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the quake occurred at 8:24 a.m.The agency said the quake is seen to cause damage or produce aftershocks.Phivolcs said the shaking was recorded in the following areas:Intensity 5 (strong) – Lemery, BatangasIntensity 4 (moderately strong) – Ibajay, Aklan; Cuenca, Bauan, Sta.
