Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, January 10) — The Department of Education (DepEd) will be presenting a revised curriculum for the Kinder to Grade 12 (K-12) program on Jan. 30, according to Malacañang.

The development was one of the highlights of the Cabinet meeting earlier in the day, press briefer Daphne Oseña-Paez told reporters on Tuesday.

“[Vice President] Sara Duterte presented the plans for inclusive learning, support for teachers, (and) improving the curriculum,” Oseña-Paez said in a media briefing.

No further details about the updated curriculum were provided.

Several groups and even lawmakers have pushed for a review of the K-12 program, citing how it is “too congested” for learners.
