Metro Manila, Philippines – State weather bureau PAGASA has listed eight areas under the ‘danger’ heat index category for Wednesday, April 29.
Areas that fall under the ‘danger’ classification may experience heat index levels ranging from 42°C to 51°C. These include:
- Sangley Point, Cavite City, Cavite – 43°C (highest)
- Tuguegarao City, Cagayan – 42°C
- Cubi Pt., Subic Bay, Olongapo City – 42°C
- TAU Camiling, Tarlac – 42°C
- Cuyo, Palawan – 42°C
- Dumangas, Iloilo – 42°C
- Catarman, Northern Samar – 42°C
- Borongan, Eastern Samar – 42°C
The National Capital Region (NCR) remains under the ‘extreme caution’ category, with heat index levels ranging from 38°C to 39°C.
