Palace denies alleged road harassment involving presidential son’s convoy

Metro Manila, Philippines – Malacañang refuted an alleged report of road harassment supposedly involving the convoy of a presidential son on Saturday evening, Feb. 21.

According to the report, the alleged presidential son’s convoy was harassed by another group of vehicles supposedly registered under a Bulacan town along the North Luzon Expressway.

The social media report said “a three-vehicle motorcade blocked the presidential son’s vehicle and an estimated 15 men alighted from the vehicles reported to be registered to a municipality in Bulacan.”

It added that the supposed harassment occurred after the vehicle supposedly carrying the presidential son overtook the Bulacan-registered vehicles, which were allegedly occupying three NLEX lanes.

“No such incident involving any presidential son,” Presidential Communications Office Secretary Dave Gomez said in a message to reporters.

Marcos’ sons are House Majority Leader and Ilocos Norte Rep. Sandro Marcos, Joseph Simon Marcos, and Vinny Marcos.
