Metro Manila, Philippines – After he was initially ruled out for the second window of the 2027 FIBA World Cup Asian qualifiers, Quentin Millora-Brown is now committed to play for Gilas Pilipinas.
The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) confirmed on Thursday, Feb. 19, that the former University of the Philippines big man is on his way from Japan to join the national team’s training camp in Laguna.

“The SBP appreciates his continued commitment to the program. He’s ready to suit up for Gilas and is going to be an integral part of the current and future of the national team,” the basketball federation said in a statement.
Millora-Brown will be a huge boost to the Gilas’ frontline together with June Mar Fajardo, AJ Edu, and Justine Baltazar.
He averaged 7.5 points and 9.5 rebounds in the first window of the FIBA World Cup qualifiers.
Gilas will be facing an uphill battle against New Zealand on Feb. 26 and Australia on March 1 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
