VP Duterte announces 2028 presidential bid

Metro Manila, Philippines – Vice President Sara Duterte has declared her candidacy for the 2028 presidential election.

“Mga kababayan, ibalik natin ang tapang at malasakit para sa Diyos, sa bayan, at para sa bawat pamilyang Pilipino. Ako si Sara Duterte. Tatakbo bilang pangulo ng Pilipinas,” she said.

She did not field questions to the media.
