Metro Manila, Philippines – Two people were killed while 10 others were injured after a drunk driver struck a group of pedestrians participating in a religious procession in Bacolod City on Good Friday.

According to a Philippine Red Cross report, the accident occurred at around 7:32 p.m. in Purok Bantug, Brgy. Alangilan. “The driver, reportedly an Indian national, is alleged to have been intoxicated at the time of the incident,” the report added.
