Metro Manila, Philippines – The Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters have parted ways with head coach Willy Wilson and team consultant Jamike Jarin following a disappointing campaign in the PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup.
The team made the announcement in an official statement on its social media page on Wednesday, Jan 14.
“We thank Coach Willy and Jamike for their hard work, commitment, and professionalism through the years and wish them the very best in their future endeavors,” the team said.
Wilson’s first foray as a head coach PBA lasted for just one conference after the Fuel Masters finished in 10th place in the Philippine Cup with a 3-8 win-loss record.
Phoenix has yet to announce its new tactician and will provide further updates in the coming days.
