Metro Manila, Philippines – Filipino singer Marcelito Pomoy performed at the New Year’s Eve party hosted by United States President Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida, marking the start of 2026 for the vocalist known for his dual-voice singing style.

Pomoy shared photos on Instagram from the Dec. 31 event, including images with Trump and First Lady Melania Trump. In his post, Pomoy described the appearance as “the perfect kick-off to 2026.”

According to Pomoy’s social media account, he performed the classic song “The Prayer” during the gathering at Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s private club and residence.

Pomoy rose to national prominence after winning the second season of “Pilipinas Got Talent” in 2011. He later gained international attention for his vocal range, often described as having a “golden female voice.”

In 2018, Pomoy appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and later on competed in “America’s Got Talent: The Champions” in 2020.
