Metro Manila, Philippines – The Philippines bagged another gold medal in the 33rd Southeast Asian Games after the women’s swimming team ruled the 4x100m freestyle relay on Wednesday, Dec. 10, in Thailand.

The quartet of Kayla Sanchez, Chloe Isleta, Xiandi Chua, and Heather White had an official time of 3:44.26 ahead of Singapore which clocked 3:46.53 and Vietnam trailing with a time of 3:47.47.

Justin Kobe Macario earlier captured the country’s first gold in the men’s taekwondo poomsae individual freestyle event.

The Philippines is currently in seventh place in the SEA Games medal tally as it also nabbed two silver and nine bronze medals.
